WEVOLVE  provides a supportive and fun environment where parents explore current parenting approaches and also build life-long friendships with other parents who have children close to the same age.  We started as Babytalk LA, then realized our families wanted to stay with us so we have evolved to accommodate the needs of families with older children as well!

Our program provides parents with research-based information to understand their children’s developmental needs and the confidence to feel good about how they are responding to them. We provide a safe haven where you can discuss the pros and cons of different approaches, where parents don’t have to worry about being judged. The setting is intimate, confidential, respectful, and fun!

The program focuses on the most useful and relevant discussion topics for each stage. We explore important topics including infant care, healthy sleep, developmental milestones, behavior, school, nutrition and other parenting issues. We also incorporate music, movement, massage, art, sensory and other activities.

The babies benefit from this early socialization with others close to their age. They get to practice their tummy time, rolling, crawling, pulling to stand, and eventually, walking!  And they get to try out a variety of clean, developmentally appropriate toys.

Our groups tend to stay together for many years. Toddler groups have more of an emphasis on activities for the children, and many groups at some point transition to parent-only discussion groups for support on the many challenges experienced by parents. 

During the COVID quarantine, we moved to Zoom only. At this time we are offering limited in-person, park meetings as well as Zoom classes. We will move back to an indoor space when it seems safe to do so. We also run groups in private homes--please contact us if you are interested in setting one up. Meeting time depends upon the age group. Please check out our Programs page with our current schedule and registration instructions. We encourage you to sign up early, as groups tend to fill up quickly.
